Ysgol Dolwyddelan is one of the Capel Coed-Elan Federation Schools.
It is a County Primary school from nursery class age to year 6, and is a Welsh, co-educational daily school.
Two full-time teachers are employed, an ALNCo (Additional Learning Needs Co-Ordinator) who works strategically across the federation one day per week, one full-time Classroom Assistant and a Strategic Head who is responsible for the 3 federated schools.
The school provides a free daily Breakfast Club which starts at 08:10 and an after-school Urdd Club on Mondays which runs until 16:00.
Admission Policy
Pre-nursery Children - Part time, in the mornings, at the beginning of the term that follows their 3rd birthday.
Nursery Children - Part time, in the mornings, at the beginning of a new educational year (September) - when they will celebrate their 4th birthday during the period: September - August.
Reception Year Children - Full time in September following their 4th birthday.

Meithrinfa 'Twt Lol' (Pentrefoelas) offers a Pre-Nursery/Nursery collection service for children from school at 12:55 to attend the nursery for the rest of the day.
